Easy Faux Mermaid Braid Hair Tutorial

We have always loved mermaid hairstyles and I think this one is so gorgeous with the triple braids and signature mermaid look featuring the delicate strands laying on top of the hair.  P.S. These braids are not just for mermaids! This hairstyle could also be considered in the "warrior braid" category... or medieval, renaissance, or fairy tale princess!  Of course, it would also be cute for regular old school, work, a date, church, school dances, etc.

Supplies needed to recreate this hairstyle:

• 3 small hair elastics
• Topsy tail (affiliate) (optional)

 This braided hairstyle will work best with long hair or medium length hair. If you tend to have flyaways, I would suggest adding pomade, gel, or hair wax before braiding.
